Indexed universal life (IUL)

How it works, in plain language.

  • What it is

Permanent life insurance. Part of each premium goes into cash value that earns interest based on an index, with limits on gains and protection from losses. Fees and caps apply.

  • Who it's for

People who want lifelong coverage and are interested in using cash value later, for example as supplemental retirement income.

  • What to have ready

Your goals, a monthly amount you're comfortable with, and basic health information.

How it works

A few questions, then a real conversation.

  1. Answer a few questions

Coverage type, age and state. It takes about a minute and there's no account to create.

  2. A licensed agent calls you

We connect you with licensed agents who can offer policies in your state. They explain options in plain language.

  3. You decide

Compare prices and coverage, ask questions, and take your time. You're never obligated to buy.

FAQ

Indexed universal life (IUL) questions

Anything else? Email contact@nxleads.com.

Is IUL an investment?

No. It's life insurance with a cash value feature. The cash value isn't invested directly in the market, and it has caps, fees and surrender charges. A licensed agent can explain the details.

How much does it cost?

It depends on age, health, coverage amount and how the policy is designed. IUL usually costs more than term life for the same death benefit.

Can I access the cash value?

Usually through policy loans or withdrawals, which can reduce the death benefit and have tax rules. Ask the agent how it would work for you.

Does this cost anything?

No. Our service is free. If you decide to buy a policy, you pay the insurance company, not us.

Who will contact me?

One or more licensed insurance agents or agencies, and possibly our team to confirm your details. They may call, text or email.

Is Lifeline Lucy an insurance company?

No. Lifeline Lucy is run by NxLeads LLC, a marketing company. We connect people with licensed agents. We don't sell insurance, set prices or give advice.
